The Herald Returns?

I had a conversation with the editor and chief mover in the school newspaper. He seemed very favorable about publishing online, although he didn't seem to know what a blog was. I showed him mine, and told him that it was possible to publish quick and painlessly using free web hosting, etc.

I also spoke to the tech facilitator today, and he was interested in the using the blogmeister site provided by David Warlick. The advantage of using this as a host is that it has a built in teacher edit structure that allows for review before posts are published. It puts the pressure on the staff advisor, but that is OK. I'm hoping to get started with this in April, if we can get a few more people from the district to sign off on it.

If this does fly, I want a better name than the Herald.
